Odim Wins Contract for Automated Handling Equipment

ODIM has been awarded a contract by an international client for delivery of automated handling systems for subsea operations. The contract has a value of approximately NOK 45 million. The systems are due for delivery within 2010.

"ODIM's subsea solutions have been developed in close cooperation with our clients, and we are pleased to experience that ODIM is making operations more efficient for an increasing number of clients", comments Vice President Subsea, Lidvar Liaset.

He underlines that ODIM considers this a successful commercialization of automated handling systems for subsea- and deepwater operations, a business area in which the company sees a considerable potential.
