PetroSun Names New VP of Exploration & Development
After beginning his career with T.L. James & Co. in 1976, Dr. Templin was promoted to Chief Geologist and Manager of their Shreveport District Office. He then served as President and Director of International Operations, and then CEO and Chairman of the Board of Petro Sources International for over sixteen years. Dr. Templin is a petroleum geologist (AAPG #32584-0) with an extensive background and experience in the U.S. Gulf Coast, Arizona and Australia.
During his thirty-year career, Dr. Templin has generated and directed multi-million dollar oil and gas exploration projects in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, the Eromanga Basin of Queensland, the Pedirka Basin in the Northern Territory and the Canning Basin of Western Australia. He has planned and coordinated all phases of oil and gas investment strategies. The utilization of sophisticated mapping, modeling and internet techniques and applications allows Dr. Templin to supervise, direct and manage both technical and support personnel in satellite offices often located in remote regions of the world. Dr. Templin understands and effectively utilizes high-powered "state-of-the-art" computer equipment and processing software to assist in both exploration efforts and field development and management projects.
