The US $12million contract with SWG Offshore will see the Havila Harmony, a DP2 multi-purpose vessel, working in the Bass Strait, off the coast of Victoria, on the Basker Manta Mooring Repair project.
TSMarine has been contracted to provide the Havila Harmony complete with ROV and saturation diving services to repair the Basker Spirit tanker mooring, which recently failed.
The repair work includes reconnection of the upper mooring chain to the midwater tri-plate connection and replacement of the tanker loading hose.
Diver will also install two new flowline jumpers.
Provision of diving services, including supply of equipment, personnel and diving consumables, has been subcontracted to Cal Dive International (Australia) Ltd.
The 45 day charter, which has six five-day options, began on October 10 and work on site started on October 26.
The Havila Harmony was delivered to TSMarine in March 2007 and is on long-term charter.
She is configured to undertake diverless subsea decommissioning and intervention activities; rigless well intervention services, wellhead and subsea infrastructure abandonment, subsea tree change-out and subsea construction support activities.
Built to the new and demanding "Clean Comfort V" Norwegian standards, the ship conforms to the highest level of environmental class conditions required of vessels of this type in the offshore industry sector.

Following a recent £130million investment, TSMarine expects to grow its own fleet of subsea decommissioning and rigless intervention vessels to five by early 2009, taking earnings to more than £100million.
