Although Tropical Storm Noel won't make landfall over Florida, the storm will hit the southern part of the U.S. state with strong wind gusts, rain and rough seas on November 1, predicts AccuWeather.com.
As Noel travels between Cuba and the Bahamas today, experts say the storm will be able to gather strength –- just how much is up in the air. Noel continues to have the potential of becoming a full-blown hurricane.
Meteorologists expect that southwesterly winds will turn Tropical Storm Noel away from Florida. After blowing through the Bahamas, the storm is expected to come within 50-100 miles of Miami, but never make landfall.
By November 2, authorities predict the storm will be affected by a jet stream, which will move Noel over the Atlantic.
