Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority Reorganizes Staff

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) is introducing adjustments to its division of supervisory teams. The rationale for these changes has been the merger of Statoil and Hydro, as well as a general wish to optimize the performance of the PSA supervisory teams with regard to meeting a new composition of industry players.

The new organization will primarily be better adjusted in order to enhancing the capacity of the PSA supervisory teams. It will result in some changes with regard to the former teams' areas of responsibility. It also means there will be new PSA contact points for some companies operating on the NCS.
