Santos Drills Duster with Exeter-3 Well

The Exeter-3 well will be plugged and abandoned. The well was drilled to a total depth of 3,995 meters and wireline reports showed only sub-commercial hydrocarbons in a secondary objective. The well is located in Permit WA-191-P offshore Australia in the Carnarvon Basin approximately 1.5 kilometers from the Exeter-1 discovery. The Sedco 703 has been released from the well.
Participants in WA-191-P are Santos as operator with 33.40%; Kufpec with 33.40%; Nippon Oil with 25.00% and Woodside with the remaining 8.20%.
