While dry-docked at Signalís Pascagoula, Mississippi facility, the Richmond will undergo:
--Waste tank replacement

The Atwood Oceanics Richmond was originally built in 1982 and has seen previous upgrades in 1986 and 2000. As a column stabilized submersible drilling unit, the Richmond is towed to drilling location, then ballasted to land its pontoons on the seabed. The maximum water depth limitation for the Richmond is 70 ft.
