The UK's leading offshore contractor and major international energy services firm, Wood Group beat out heavy competition from two-time winner MediaCom Scotland, Monster Scotland, Petroleum Experts and Petrotechnics. The company's record results in 2006 earned the award: revenues grew by 26 per cent to $3,468.8m and EBITA grew 44 per cent to $215.1m, while staff numbers grew by 25 per cent to 20,000.
