BJ PPS Appoints New Country Manager - Australia
BJ Process and Pipeline Services (BJ PPS) has appointed Damion Lomman to the position of country manager - Australia. In his new role, Lomman is responsible for all business development, engineering and operations carried out in Australia.
Lomman has 12 years experience in the process and pipeline industry, having worked in Australia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Qatar and Dubai. In 1996 Lomman joined BJ PPS in Australia as a process technician. In 1999 he was transferred to work on a number of overseas operations and major projects for BJ PPS, including management of the Karachaganak Project in Kazakhstan, before returning to Australia in 2003.
Prior to his promotion to country manager - Australia, Lomman served as BJ PPS’s primary account manager for the Woodside Energy contract and as country operations manager for four years in Perth, Western Australia.
Originally from Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, Lomman served for 10 years as a senior investigator with the Western Australian Police Force before joining BJ PPS. While balancing work and personal commitments, he is working toward completing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Curtin University. He is based in Perth, Australia and reports directly to Carl Mook, Middle East-Asia Pacific region manager for BJ PPS.
