Scorpion Offshore Appoint Robert Woods to Board of Directors
Robert B. Woods Appointed Director
Hamilton, Bermuda - September 5, 2007
Mr. Woods is currently the Chairman and CEO of P&O Ferries, Southampton Terminal and Tilbury Container Services, and was formerly the CEO of P&O Steam Navigation Company. Woods has an extensive background in the maritime industry having managed numerous international trade routes for P&O in the Far East and Middle East. He has lived in Dubai and provides valuable insight into this growing region for oil and gas drilling.
Mr. Woods also serves on the Board of Directors of John Swire & Sons and Cathay Pacific Airways, and he is Chairman of the Mission to Seafarers. He received a degree in economics and history from Cambridge University, and he is resident in the United Kingdom.
Scorpion Offshore Ltd. is a Bermuda based corporation founded in 2005 to own and operate state-of-the-art offshore drilling rigs.
