Superior to Perforate Additional Zones

Superior Oil and Gas of Yukon, Oklahoma is preparing, weather permitting, to perforate and produce the upper Mississippi and Hunton zones in its Lonesome River #1 oil and gas well located in Blaine County, Oklahoma, announced Dan Lloyd, CEO of Superior. Final completion of this well in the Viola Formation is at hand, Lloyd said, due to weather-related causes.

Lloyd also said that Superior has scheduled the perforation of the lower Mississippi zone in its Windy Vista #1 oil and gas well in Garfield County, Oklahoma. The Windy Vista No. 1 Well is nearing completion in the upper Mississippi Formation. Delays have inhibited the final completion of the well due to the extended rains that have plagued Western Oklahoma this summer.
