The regulator also set the first public hearing to debate the round for August 23 in Rio de Janeiro.
Scheduled for November 27-28, round nine will offer operating licenses for 313 blocks in nine sedimentary basins.
The public hearing will allow participants to discuss the draft version of the rules. Data packages for each block on offer will be available on August 13.
ANP will hold seminars throughout August and September on the round. Companies interested in bidding formally must confirm their interest by October 3.
