Trico Marine Appoints Director of Global Sales and Marketing
Trico Marine Services has promoted Tomas R. Salazar to the post of Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Salazar joined Trico in January 2007 as its International Sales and Marketing Director.
Prior to joining Trico, Mr. Salazar spent over fifteen years with BP in positions ranging from Business Development Manager for Latin America to Director of Strategic Planning. During his tenure with BP, Mr. Salazar's responsibilities included leading negotiations for significant commercial agreements, identifying profitable new opportunities for various business entities within BP and developing a growth strategy for BP North America. After his time with BP, he served as Director of International Sales and Marketing with Seabulk International. Mr. Salazar received his MBA with a major in International Business and Planning from Universidad de Navarra, Barcelona, Spain, and his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Metropolitana, Caracas, Venezuela.
In addition, the Company announced the promotion of Tony Stokes to Assistant to the Managing Director of Trico's North Sea operations and the hiring of Jason Miller as his replacement as Sales Manager for the Gulf of Mexico.
