OHM Appoints Asia/Pacific Regional Manager

Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping appoints of David Flett to the newly created position of Regional Manager – OHM Asia/Pacific. David’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to aggressive expansion within the South East Asia region following on from recent contract awards in Australia and Malaysia.

David has over 25 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, predominantly within the Asia Pacific region. A geologist, he was previously Managing Director for Paradigm Geophysical Sdn bhd, a world leader in the provision of software and associated consulting technologies to the energy sector. David had full P&L responsibility for Paradigm’s Asia Pacific Operations, from Pakistan to Japan and Australasia.

David has also held Managing Director positions with Robertson Research Indonesia between 1988 and 1992 and subsequently Director and EAME Manger positions with Mincom (PTM) from 1992 until the company was acquired by Paradigm in 1999.

At OHM, David will be responsible for the rapid development of the Company’s CSEM survey and data library services and for sales and marketing activities within the Asia Pacific Region.
