Petrobras to Receive P-53 Hull by August 30
Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras will receive the hull of the P-53 platform by August 30, the company said in a statement.
Three towing vessels are transporting P-53 to Brazil, Petrobras said, adding the August 30 date is subject to weather and tide conditions.
After reaching Brazil's Rio Grande port, the hull will undergo topside integration and proceed to the Campos basin's Marlim Leste field.
The P-53 will have production capacity of 180,000b/d oil and 6Mm3/d natural gas.
