La Pampa Extends E&P Bidding to August
Argentina's La Pampa province has extended the bidding deadline for three hydrocarbon blocks named Salina Grande V, Salina Grande VI and Salina Grande VII to August 28, the province said in a statement.
Offers originally were due to be opened June 29.
The blocks border the Salina Grande I area that was tendered last year and each covers 415km2.
Bidding rules cost US$5,000 and can be purchased from the office of the province's deputy hydrocarbons and mining ministry.
If commercial hydrocarbons are found during the exploration period, the exploration permit would be converted to a 25-year production concession.
