The three-year contract will secure employment for more than 100 Wood Group employees and sub-contractors offshore and onshore. On the basis of current projections, the Triton FPSO and associated facilities are expected to have an economic producing life extending to 2020 and beyond.

"It confirms Hess Ltd and co-venturers' confidence in our ability to deliver best industry practice and maintain our excellent HSE performance."
Wood Group is also providing operations and maintenance support to Hess's operations offshore Equatorial Guinea, which are supported from the Aberdeen-based Triton onshore support team, and this contract renewal will ensure continuity for the next three years.
