Pertra Completes Nebba Seismic Program
Pertra has completed its seismic acquisition program on the Nebba Prospect in the Norwegian Sea. The prospect is part of Production License 432, which is operated and 100% owned by Pertra. The license is located north of the Midgard Field, and was awarded in January this year.
In total, more than 400 square kilometers of 3D seismic data have been acquired in the area by Fugro Multi Client Services. The operation was completed without incidents and under favorable weather conditions in June. Pertra will commence analyzing the seismic data in October.
"Acquiring these data only five months after the license was awarded in APA 2006 confirms Pertra's position as one of the most aggressive operators on the NCS. We intend to analyze the acquired data as soon as possible, enabling us to drill one or more wells in the fall of 2008 or early 2009", said CEO of Pertra ASA, Erik Haugane.
PL 432 is one of seven licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf operated by Pertra.
