Pakistan Makes Discovery in Southern Province of Sindh

The Oil and Gas Development Co. of Pakistan has made a discovery in the southern province of Sindh. It is the company's sixth discovery this year. The discovery was made from the exploratory well, Norai Jagir, 16 miles southeast of Hyderabad. During the initial testing, the well has flowed 410 barrels per day of condensate oil and about 10 MCFD of gas.

The state firm has a 95 percent stake in the exploration license area. The other five percent stake is owned by the Government Holding Private Ltd.
