The awards process was launched in April and companies have until August 10 to submit documents indicating they are interested in the project and pay a US$150,000 fee, the statement said.
Offers will be received until September 18, and contracts will be awarded during the first week of October, according to the statement.
ANH will hold workshops in Bogota on July 11 and 12 to resolve any questions surrounding the process.
The blocks, located in the Uraba, Sinu and La Guajira basins, cover 290,000ha.
Ronda Caribe will be ANH's most aggressive attempt to get private energy firms involved in natural gas E&P since the agency was created in 2003, BNamericas previously reported.
