Stallion Expands Wellsite Construction Division

Stallion Oilfield Services Ltd. has acquired Central Industries, Inc. Central, with headquarters in Scott, La., has been providing location construction, lease maintenance and environmental services to the oil and gas industry since 1952.

"Central is a great addition to our construction division," stated Craig Johnson, Stallion's chief executive officer. "Their position in Louisiana adds equipment, manpower and environmental capabilities to our existing construction business and increases our leadership position in the Gulf Coast region of Louisiana. William Stevenson will continue to run the business, which will operate as Stallion Construction. Bill Stevenson and Orville Watson will also continue in active roles."

Stallion provides wellsite support services and construction & logistic services to the oilfield with over 1,700 employees in 49 locations. Its range of critical wellsite services includes onshore and offshore workforce accommodations, surface rental equipment, solids control, communication services, site construction, rig relocation and heavy equipment hauling.
