Bolivia Drafting Terms for New Oilfield Audits

Bolivia's hydrocarbons and energy ministry is drafting reference terms for a new tender to carry out audits of marginal oilfields, the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry is seeking resources from the finance ministry with the aim of launching bidding next month, minister Carlos Villegas said. Results will be submitted in November and released in December.

The ministry in July last year launched bidding for a first round of audits for 58 gas and oil-producing fields as part of the sector's nationalization. The ministry has submitted results of the first round audits to state hydrocarbons company YPFB.
