XTO Completes $1B Common Stock Offering
XTO Energy Inc. has completed its previously announced public common stock offering.
The offering of 17,250,000 shares was priced at $60.50 per share, raising approximately $1.044 billion prior to underwriting costs. The offering included 2,250,000 shares priced at $60.50 pursuant to the exercise of an over-allotment option granted to underwriters. As a result of the offering, common shares outstanding increased to 385.8 million. The Company's management did not sell shares in the offering. Joint book-running managers for the common stock offering were Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
