The primary term of the contract is two years with four one-year extension options. The contract scope includes approval from NOPSA (National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority) as operator, preparations and submittal of the Safety Case, all mobilization activities, systems and procedures, maintenance planning, subcontracts, providing spares, chemicals and consumables, recruitment and training, commissioning assistance and start-up.
Through the operation phase the scope includes facility management (operations & maintenance) of the complete vessel including all logistics, supply chain management including supply vessel and helicopter support and technical and administrative support. The project is already underway in Aibel's offices in Perth, Australia.
This contract represents a real breakthrough for Facility Management/Operations in Australia and will be executed through integrated networking between Perth, Stavanger, Norway and the vessel.
