Petroecuador Output Back to Pre-May Levels
Output from fields directly operated by Ecuador's state oil company Petroecuador in recent days have exceeded an average of 170,000b/d, the company said in a statement.
Production through April reached an average of 170,000b/d, but dropped to 166,874b/d in May due to attacks on oil infrastructure, the statement said.
The lower output resulted in a loss of over US$6mn, which does not include repair work.
