KMZ, STP Buoy Hook-up A Success

During a weather window Thursday afternoon, the FPSO Yuum K'ak' Naab for the Ku-Maloob-Zaap (KMZ) field in the Gulf of Mexico was towed into position for connection to the preinstalled STP system. Retrieval and pull-in of the buoy was successfully carried out and the vessel securely moored at 7:15 p.m. the same day--in an operation that took less than 5 hours.
