ExxonMobil Selling Acreage in the Gulf of Mexico and Oklahoma
ExxonMobil is offering to sell its operated and OBO interests in three Gulf of Mexico OCS field areas - Brazos, Matagorda Island and South Marsh Island. The three field areas cover 10 OCS leases totaling about 40 thousand acres. The effective time of the sale is January 1, 2003. Bids will be due December 9, 2002.
ExxonMobil's interest in the Matagorda Island (MI) 665 field area is comprised of three OCS leases located 45 miles northeast of Corpus Christi, Texas in approximately 70 feet of water. ExxonMobil has a 100% Working Interest in MI Blocks 632, 656, and 657.
The company's interest in the Brazos Block 453 field area covers five leases located approximately 125 miles northeast of Corpus Christi, Texas in about 75 feet of water. ExxonMobil's Working Interest in Brazos Blocks 435, 436, 452, 453, and 454 ranges from 45% to 100%.
ExxonMobil's interest in the South Marsh Island Block 115 field area covers two OCS leases located 91 miles south of Intercoastal City, Louisiana in approximately 180 feet of water. ExxonMobil has a 100% Working Interest in Block 99 and retains an interest in its operated portion of Block 90.
The company is also soliciting bids for the sale of its interest in the NE Mayfield Field, Beckham County, Oklahoma. The NE Mayfield and Choctaw Thrust Gas Gathering Systems are also included in the proposed sale. The effective time of the sale is March 31, 2003. Bids will be due January 15, 2003. A dataroom for prospective bidders will be open from November 18 through December 20, 2002 in Houston, TX.
ExxonMobil Production Company is soliciting bids for the sale of its interest in the Postle Field, Texas County, Oklahoma. The effective time of the sale is February 1, 2003. Bids will be due November 12, 2002. A dataroom will be open for prospective bidders from October 7 through November 1, 2002 in Houston, TX.
