CNPC: Parallel Sebei-Golmud Gas Pipeline Now in Service
China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) said that the parallel gas pipeline from Sebei Gasfield to Golmud City in Qinghai Province was put into operation on May 29.
The 177.25-km-long pipeline is designed to offer annual deliverability of 2 billion cubic meters and to handle 6.4Mpa of pressure.
The Sebei Gasfield, located in Qaidam Basin in West China, is one of China's four large onshore gas producing areas with an annual gas production capacity of 4 billion cubic meters.
