Cooper Cameron Wins Subsea Contract Offshore Nigeria

The Cameron division of Cooper Cameron Corporation has been awarded a contract for subsea equipment to be installed offshore West Africa by ExxonMobil's Nigerian subsidiary. Cameron will provide the subsea systems for Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited's (Esso) Erha project offshore Nigeria. Erha is located on OPL 209.

Cameron's role includes providing subsea systems engineering and project management, along with modular subsea Christmas trees (SpoolTrees(TM)), CAMTROL(TM) production controls systems, umbilicals, manifolds and flowline connection systems. Initial equipment delivery and installation is slated to begin in early 2004. The installation will require approximately 25 subsea trees and related equipment. Cameron will also invest in a new Nigerian facility to receive, test and maintain subsea equipment for Erha and for future projects.
