La Pampa Launches Tender for 3 Areas

Argentina's La Pampa province began selling bidding rules on May 18 for the E&P of three hydrocarbons areas, the province said on its website.

The Salina Grande V, VI and VII areas border the Salina Grande I area that was tendered last year and each of the three blocks covers 415km2.

Bidding rules cost US$5,000. The province will open bids on June 29, the statement said.

If commercial hydrocarbons are found during the exploration period, the exploration permit would be converted to a 25-year production concession.
