M.O. Tech and Bennex Go Subsea in Brazil

Technor ASA has expanded into the subsea market through their acquistion of Bennex AS, and has appointed M.O. Tech as their sales representative in Brazil. To meet this challenge M.O. Tech has created a new department, "Subsea", and hired Director Sergio Walsh Goldvag to develop it. Sergio Walsh Goldvag has extensive experience from this field and he comes to M.O. Tech from Subsea7.

Brazil's marine and offshore industry has had some tough years lately and several companies have gone down. Finally, after "all these years of talking", there are beginning to materialize signed contracts to the marine and offshore as well as the petrochemical markets. M.O. Tech has invested long term towards these new projects and the investments are starting to pay off. The market activities increase and the focus are changing from technical solutions towards business. M.O. Tech is today invited to participate in several interesting projects.

Since the product range is allowing it, M.O. Tech will again start up their sales towards the domestic retrofit market and also approach the growing Petrochemical industry. To do so they have opened an office in Macae with one sales person. M.O. Tech has also signed up two senior representatives for commission sales to these markets. All activities will still be coordinated through the M.O. Tech head office in Rio.
