Pride Stockholders Re-elect Board Members

At the company's annual meeting Thursday in Houston, the stockholders of Pride International, Inc. approved the re-election of A. B. Brown, Kenneth M. Burke, Archie W. Dunham, Francis S. Kalman, Ralph D. McBride, Louis A. Raspino and David B. Robson to serve on Pride's board of directors for a term of one year.

In addition, stockholders approved the company's 2007 Long-Term Incentive Plan and ratified the appointment of KPMG LLP as its independent registered public accounting firm for 2007.

Houston-based Pride International, Inc. is one of the world's largest drilling contractors. The company provides onshore and offshore drilling and related services in more than 25 countries, operating a diverse fleet of 276 rigs, including two ultra-deepwater drillships, 12 semisubmersible rigs, 28 jackups, 16 tender-assisted, barge and platform rigs, five managed deepwater rigs and 213 land rigs.
