Apache Corporation announced that its A-22 ST new fault discovery well in Main Pass 77, offshore in the Outer Continental Shelf in the Gulf of Mexico, is producing 19.3 million cubic feet of gas per day and 1,500 barrels of oil per day. "This well is a reflection of Apache's continued focus on exploiting producing properties on the shelf with 3-D seismic and integrated field studies," says Jon Jeppesen, vice president of Apache's offshore region. Apache holds a 26.2 percent working interest in the well. Chevron, the operator, has a 48.4 percent working interest. Other participants in the well are Contour Energy Co., with 18.06 percent; Sabco Oil and Gas, with 6.5 percent; and Key Production Company, with 0.84 percent.
