Nabors Offshore Loses Rig During Hurricane Lili

Nabors Offshore's jackup Dolphin 105 capsized last week as a result of Hurricane Lili. The rig was performing workover services for BP in Ship Shoal 126. The storm was rated as a Category 4 hurricane with winds of 135 miles per hour as it went through the Ship Shoal area in the Gulf of Mexico. The well was shut in during the storm and all rig personnel had been evacuated prior to the accident.
