Corus Tubes Adds Freeman to Management Team
Corus Tubes has appointed Richard Freeman as its new business development manager.
Freeman will be based in Corby and will oversee the company’s international business development, as well as enhancing relationships with its growing global client base in the oil and gas industry.
A member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Freeman graduated from the University of Leicester with a first class honors degree in engineering. Following graduation, he worked for a number of companies in the process industry as a design engineer where he gained invaluable knowledge of practical engineering, the design process and project management.
Freeman joined Corus Tubes in 2004 as a development engineer where his extensive engineering background and expertise complemented the commercial resource to utilize key research and marketing opportunities within the oil and gas industry. In particular, he played a major role in the development of Corus Tubes pipe-in-pipe capabilities at the company’s site in Hartlepool.
