Petrobras March Output Up 1.4% to 2.32Mboe/d
Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras (NYSE: PBR) saw production at home and abroad average 2.32Mboe/d in March, up 1.4% from the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
Domestic production grew 3.2% in March to 2.09Mboe/d from the year-ago month.
Domestic oil output grew 3.7% to 1.81Mb/d in the period, with 87% coming from the Campos basin, Petrobras said.
Brazilian gas production in the period was close to February levels with 44Mm3/d, the statement said, without providing a year-on-year comparison.
Foreign production dropped 3% to 229,138boe/d in the period, largely due to protests in Ecuador.
