Wood Group Announces New Engineering Director
John Wood Group PLC announced that Trevor Noble is retiring from his position as Chief Executive of Wood Group's Engineering activities within its Engineering & Production Facilities Division (E&PF). He will also retire from the Group Board on April 30.
Noble will be replaced by Mike Straughen, who will join the Group Board on May 1. Straughen recently left AMEC PLC, where he had most recently served as Group Managing Director responsible for UK activities across all sectors as well as global oil and gas. He spent 25 years with AMEC and played a significant role in the growth of their oil and gas activities.
Wood Group Chairman, Sir Ian Wood, said, "The Board is very grateful to Trevor Noble for his valuable contribution to the successful growth of our world-leading international engineering business over the last three years. We wish him well in his retirement."
