CHC Helicopter Approved for Listing on NYSE

CHC Helicopter Corporation is pleased to announce that its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares have been approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The company's Class A Subordinate Voting Shares will begin trading on the NYSE on Friday, October 11 under the stock ticker symbol "FLI".

Trading of CHC's shares on the NASDAQ will cease as of the close of business on Thursday, October 10, 2002.

The Company's Class A Subordinate Voting Shares and Class B Multiple Voting Shares will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under ticker symbols FLY.A and FLY.B, respectively.
