Britannia Field Resumes Output Monday
The Britannia gas platform located in the UK sector of the North Sea to resume production on Monday at approximately 1800 GMT. The platform had been shut down for annual maintenance for the past 19 days. However, technical problems delayed the re-start date till today.
The platform spans block 15/30 and 16/26 in the North Sea in approximately 500 feet of water and produces 760 cubic feet of natural gas per day and 50,000 barrels of condensate per day. ChevronTexaco is the operator of the platform.
