Sealift Transporter is Refloated
On March 21, 2007, the m.v. Sealift Transporter floated out of Cosco's drydock in Nantong, China after fitting of the new midship section.
"All activities with regard to the conversion into a dedicated heavy transport vessel are on schedule", says Bert Bekker CEO of Sealift Management in the Netherlands.
"In order to meet the schedule and to guarantee that all conversion work will be carried out according to our high standard, we have experienced and skilled heavy transport professionals at the yard, who will assist the site team at the Cosco yard", continues Bert Bekker.
The m.v. Sealift Transporter will be ready for her first commitment in May 2007.
