Neptune Marine Appoints Stein Giljarhus as COO
Neptune Marine Oil & Gas has strengthened its management team by appointing Stein Giljarhus as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Giljarhus will be based in Singapore.
Mr. Giljarhus, aged 50, has a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has 30 years of business experience, first 7 years in positions onboard drilling rigs, thereafter within top - management positions onshore. Prior to joining Neptune Marine, Mr. Giljarhus was several years with Odfjell Drilling and Aker Drilling / Transocean. In Transocean he held the position as Managing Director of its largest daughter company, operating both in North Sea and Internationally. From 1996, as one of the founders of AGR (Ability Group ASA), he held the position as Managing Director up to 2002, growing the company to a major oil service company in the North Sea.

The appointment of an experienced executive like Stein will not only help the Company in strengthening its capabilities in projects and operations but will also strengthen its ability to achieve its growth projections.
