PDVSA, Beicip-Franlab Sign LOI for E&P Software Development

Venezuela's state oil firm PDVSA and French software maker Beicip-Franlab have signed two letters of intent for the development of E&P software solutions, PDVSA said in a statement.

Beicip-Franlab is owned by Institut Francais du Petrole, a French government energy corporation and think tank.

Under the agreements, the French firm will train PDVSA engineers as well as advise the Venezuelan company on E&P projects, the statement said.
