The incinerators and associated equipment will be manufactured in Canada and are scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2007. Since its inception, Questor has established numerous successful supplier alliances. As a result, and in anticipation of large projects being awarded, Questor has secured suppliers, services, technical expertise, and the financing required to ensure successful delivery and execution. Funding for this project has been guaranteed through a significant initial deposit and a letter of credit for the balance of the project.
Questor provides incinerators for numerous applications for the oil and gas industry, including sour gas well testing. Questor's expertise in sour service well testing incinerators and in the combustion of high H2S content gas, especially near communities, was instrumental in Sinopec's decision. The incinerators will be used to assist Sinopec in their development of the Puguang Gas Field, the largest gas field in China's history.
Over recent years, Questor has expanded its marketing beyond Western Canada and North America and is particularly excited about the prospects in Asia. This is Questor's second project in Asia within the past year, and we have received numerous other requests from the region for our products and services.
While Questor will continue to service the international markets, its base of operations remains in Western Canada and Questor will continue to pursue opportunities to provide superior combustion expertise to Canada and the US.
Questor is engaged in the business of developing environmental technologies for use by the oil & natural gas industry.
