The accompanying map shows all the countries where WellInform web-based reporting is now in place within KCA Deutag.
Additional countries in line for implementation within the coming months include Sakhalin Island, Libya and Saudi Arabia. WellInform has evolved considerably since its introduction in 2004, with more and more countries and different types of operations now using the system.
Much credit for the success of the system is due to the diligence of the rig teams populating the system and also the support teams working hard to ensure worldwide implementation was possible.
"This extension is excellent news and is a mark of how well KCA Deutag and Well Data Technologies have been working together," said Eddy Jacobsen, Technical Director of Well Data Technologies.
With KCA Deutag operations continuing to expand, the system can now be classified as a global performance tool. With the ability to report, analyze and measure globally the system is a key contributing element to KCA Deutag operations.
