Pottow Resigns from Hercules' Board
Hercules Offshore, Inc. said late Friday that V. Frank Pottow is stepping down from Hercules' Board of Directors. Pottow, a managing director of Greenhill & Co. and a member of the investment committee of Greenhill Capital Partners, has been a director of Hercules since Greenhill's initial investment in Hercules in October 2004. Greenhill currently owns less than five percent of the Company's outstanding shares.
"Frank Pottow has been a valuable member of the Board since he joined in 2004. His contributions to and enthusiasm for Hercules will be missed. We thank Greenhill and Frank for their vision, contributions and support in getting Hercules where it is today," said John Reynolds, Chairman of Hercules' Board of Directors.
Headquartered in Houston, Hercules Offshore operates a fleet of nine jackup drilling rigs and 64 liftboats. The company offers a range of services to oil and gas producers to meet their needs during drilling, well service, platform inspection, maintenance, and decommissioning operations in shallow waters.
