Minor Gas Leak Reported at Heimdal, Quickly Resolved

A minor gas leak occurred at 10:15 a.m. Monday in connection with work in the process plant at the Heimdal Gas Center offshore Norway.

All production was stopped and personnel were mustered in accordance with routine procedure. 47 people are onboard the platform. The situation was quickly resolved and preparations are ongoing to restart production. All routines and procedures were followed.

An internal investigation of the incidence will be started immediately.
