FMC Technologies Makes Key Appointments
FMC Technologies announced three key executive appointments, effective January 1, 2007.
John T. Gremp has been appointed Executive Vice President, with worldwide responsibility for FMC Technologies' Energy Systems businesses. Robert L. Potter and Tore H. Halvorsen have been appointed Senior Vice Presidents.
Potter will continue to be responsible for all of the Energy Processing segment businesses and will add to his responsibilities the Global Surface Wellhead business. Halvorsen will be responsible for Global Subsea Production Systems, encompassing his current responsibilities managing the Eastern Hemisphere, based in Kongsberg, Norway and adding the remaining regions of the subsea business globally. Potter and Halvorsen will report to John T.Gremp.
"John's leadership in our oilfield businesses, his proven operations expertise, and his global managerial experience make him an outstanding choice to manage the largest segment of FMC Technologies' portfolio," said Peter D. Kinnear, President and Chief Operating Officer. "Bob's background in both the energy processing and surface wellhead businesses and Tore's extensive subsea systems expertise provide John with an experienced management team to lead the growing energy businesses of the Company."
