Omron Oilfield & Marine to Supply Control System for Atwood Aurora
Omron Oilfield & Marine has been chosen to supply the AC/DC power conversion and automated drilling control system for Atwood Oceanics' Aurora jackup. The project has a value of approximately $3.5 million in revenue to Omron.

"This contract award demonstrates our leadership position as a provider of power and control technology solutions for the oil and gas industry."
The scope of supply includes AC/DC drive system, generator control & power distribution, and automated drilling control system with touch screen monitoring. Equipment for this project will be engineered and manufactured at Omron's facility in Houston. Deliveries are slated for early 2007.
