Fairmount's latest edition to the fleet, the 200-tonnes bollard pull supertug Fairmount Glacier, sailed from Invergordon with the Frontier Driller in tow bound for Pascagoula, Mississippi. November in the North Sea is not the best time of the year for seafarers but the Fairmount Glacier, under command of Capt. Eddie Barker, dealt with 50 knots winds with relative ease during the first days of the voyage. With an ETA just before Christmas, Fairmount Glacier and Frontier Driller are now clearing the Channel, still under influence of low pressure and high winds.
