ANH Starts Selling Caribbean Round Info Package
Colombia's hydrocarbons regulator ANH has started to sell the basic information package for the 2007 offshore Caribbean hydrocarbons E&P round.
The package costs US$20,000 and includes seismic and well data, technical reports and maps, according to an ANH bulletin.
The round aims to award contracts in areas of the Fuerte and Tayrona blocks, according to preliminary information.
Anglo-Australian resources group BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) has carried out studies in Fuerte.
US oil major ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM), Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras (NYSE: PBR) and Colombia's state oil company Ecopetrol carried out studies on Tayrona.
